Rotary International promotes educational
programs around the globe, whether it be
through programs such as the Group Study
Exchange, Ambassadorial Scholarships,
supporting Rotary Centers for International
Studies or awarding Rotary Grants for
University Teachers.

At the local level, the Sunrise Rotary Club of
Kingsville encourages are high school students
to excel both in and out of the classroom.  This
past year, we teamed up with Texas A&M
University - Kingsville to honor local students
for their efforts.  Eight students were chosen
by school committees to be recognized as
Sunrise Rotary Students of the Month.  Each
recipient also received a $500 scholarship
from Texas A&M University - Kingsville.
Congratulations to all of the honorees.
